The City of Dallas recently awarded Azteca Enterprises, Inc. with a contract to renovate the 1950’s era Coliseum at Dallas’ historic Fair Park. The flexible Coliseum building has held rodeos, Fashion Week Fashion Shows, concerts, private events, and various sporting events over the years. This highly flexible space allows customization of events, including sound, lighting, and seating.

Unfortunately, the facility is overdue for an update, but thanks to Dallas voters, the facility will be receiving a renovation. Voters approved a $1.05 billion bond program in 2017, allocating $50 million to the rehabilitation of Fair Park facilities. The scope of work includes water infiltration; flooring; plumbing; electrical/mechanical; restrooms and other necessary repairs and a comprehensive restoration including seating replacement for 5,768 Permanent Mezzanine Seats, VIP Balcony, Heat/Air, First Aid Room, Scoreboard, Ticket Offices, Dressing Rooms
scheduled for completion in 2021. At Fair Park Coliseum, all seats are guaranteed to have excellent sightlines – while convenient concession stands and clean restrooms offer comfort and convenience for guests.
