Azteca Enterprises, Inc. was recently recognized by the City of Houston and Mayor Sylvester Turner as a “Champion of Diversity.” Azteca received the Contractor of the Year – Certified Prime Award during the February 2022 awards celebration. The Champions of Diversity Awards Ceremony honors minority, women, small, and disadvantaged business enterprises (MWSDBEs) and non-MWSDBE prime contractors for outstanding performance on City of Houston contracts. City of Houston departments and community partners are also recognized for their efforts to support the mission and purpose of the MWSDBE Program. The 2022 awards ceremony theme was “Celebrating Equality, Diversity, and Opportunity.” Azteca is currently working on several projects for IAH Airport for the City of Houston, including the Parking Count Guidance System and Mickey Leland International Terminal enabling work.
